Hi all,

Some of you may have seen my trials and tribulations in other threads on here while trying to decide what truck to get. I have decided on a '99 2wd 5 spd dually. The truck has 254,000 miles of towing on it, but is in basically good shape. I've never owned a 2nd generation before, so I'm pretty much out of the loop on what works on these. In particular, I was wondering if the TST box for the 2nd gens is a good thing to get? I know the TST is a big hit in the 3rd gen world.

This is you guys' chance to give me your opinions on what to do to get maximum safe power for minimum dollars. I'll start the party by asking...who sells a good A pillar gauge setup for boost and egt's? That's first on the list no matter what else follows.

dieselmanor.com DAVE is good guy he can hook you up with cheap a pillar and gauges......also the Edge Comp seems to be the best for the 2nd gen because a while back there was a magazine review on 5 performance comp and the edge out numbered them all by atleast 13hp i think it was..... and this was all on the same truck they installed all 5 units one after the other and Edge was the 2nd to last installed and tested review so it wasnt the fact that the truck had dyno runs before hand
