Well just get your baseline runs and talk to him about options for when you go back.

9 settings on the tst x 10 settings on the smarty x meth on or off = 180 combos- get a testing

See if he will rent the dyno by the hour. Normally shops have a per run rate (high) and an hourly rate (lower), the hourly rate is normally between $75-$125 an hour. If you can get the hourly rate you could do the pump swap and everything that day to see the results......

well, my appoitment is at 1 on saturday. And its about a hour and a half round trip. plus how ever long i have to stay over there. plus a coupla buddies are going, so ill probably wait for them. so itll be 4-5 by the time i get home (i hope!) then the pump swap will take 5-6 hours. (ill have to dissasemble both trucks, the put them back together)

So if all goes as planned, i may have my truck back on the road by midnight. i think they may be closed. LOL

ill see if i can buy an hour like you said. use 30 minutes now and 30 minutes later. he dont like the dodge boys...

I am betting 500-530 RWHP on a dynojet 248 version with no correction factor.

you have 220hp injectors over my 150's and the H2O/meth, but i have the HRVP44...and i did 500/1021

im gonna guess you will be over that, but not by much, 62mm will be nearly maxed, as well as the HO pump is really straining for you.im gonna say 530/1100 max

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning. If you saying get max # first so it is closest to accurate... OK, maybe.
But it may make differences between max and lesser combos smaller... no?

Wouldn't there be less heat soak to start small? Also, with hood up and a fan in front of the truck, is heat soak that big a factor? I mean any more so than driving down the road?... or multi passes at the strip? Never really considered this... but it's worth thinking about.

If heat soak is an important consideration, than doesn't it make any back to back dyno runs (with different set ups) inaccurate? On the other hand, guys who do three runs at same settings don't necessarily see best HP/TQ on first run.... do they?? I haven't, based on my past print outs.

No input for you, 'Blackdiesel' ....just asking questions.
