something like that!, I only am 40 minutes away from Daves shop and talk to dave on a friendship basis more then a business basis anymore!, Dave is a very good guy!, and has a very loving and beutiful family..... thems good people!!LOL

 

I've installed two Goerend tranny's in customer rides in a little over two months time.......not bad for a dealer tech. I can't say the parts department is too pleased, but at least they understand that if your running a modded engine, there's a better tool to get the job done than a stock re-man transmission. One was on a 98 truck running a superchip that would "shudder" the converter when towing his toyhauler. The most recent last friday was a 99 with 168K on it (Edge EZ/rv275's) that has towed a 16000lb rv most of it's life. This will be his third trans. One stock, one overhauled (then again a few weeks afterwords when the converter came apart), and now the Goerend. I can't wait to hear how it works for him.

 

I love Goerends stuff. Let us know how it compares to the DTT.

Dave was buisy with trannys all day so i left a message for him to call me back, well let me tell you what. he called me at 7:46 P.M. my time, so i no it was late over there. he just wanted to say that he didnt forget about me and that he was very buisy and we talked for while and got things figured out on what to build. any one that has customer service like that is a A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ in my books. thanks alot guys.

 

Thats Dave for ya. He called me back on new years day to troubleshoot a problem I had with a trans, left me a message. Called me the next day, which was a sunday. Definitely outstanding.

You're more than welcome to put in your sig that you have a Goerends tranny, just can't have the rest.

Like mine, for instance, I have Skyjacker, Bushwacker, etc, just not contact info for any of them.
