Re:which gauges recomended

You will definitely want EGT and boost, probably also trans temp and fuel pressure.

Re:which gauges recomended

I like the the Dipricol gauges myself. Easy to read in day or night and they look very close to the factory gauges. 8) I have mine mounted in the A-pillar and love them there. Even if you're not planning on bombing they are great to watch while you're driving.

Check out these 2 sites.

TST

Genos Garage

I bought mine from TST and had them in about 3 days.

Bomb on my Cummins Brother.

DB

I have EGT, boost and tranny temp on the A pillar. Will be adding fuel pressure soon. I have Isspro's and they match the dash gauges pretty well and seem to be very accurate.

I'm using Isspro EV gauges.
At the very least you'll need Pyro (EGT), and Fuel Pressure (gotta watch out for that pesky lift pump), then Trans Temp (especially if towing heavy), and then Boost (not quite as critical, but fun to watch).

I have the Autometer ultralights in an A-pillar mount. With the green bulb insert they look very good with the stock dash lighting.
