It is my OPINION that autometer gauges are really not made for diesel engines. I can't remember exactly, but I know they don't recomend useing either their fuel pressure or egt gauge on diesels. Can't remember which one though. I've been running isspro for almost a year now with absolutely no problems. I probably biased to isspro because I have them, but I don't see too many autometers' in diesel trucks. I run 3 autometer gauges in my jeep and love them, but I wouldn't run them in my truck.

I have the Autometer guages and they work fine, however they don't reccomend the fuel pressure for diesel use. The pyro works fine. The only problem is they don't make a boost guage that will read above 35psi, so if you plan on big bombs you will need a guage that will read higher.

Autometer DOES make a 60psi boost guage. P/N: ATM-4305 ($46.90) on eguages.com.
Has anyone ever purchased guages from http://www.stcperformance.com ?
They quoted me $384.41 for pyro, boost, fuel pressure, and triple a pillar pod for their "STC" guages. Cheapest I've found for Autometer is eguages for $326.60 with the triple pillar.

I didn't know they were making one that would read above 35psi. When i purcased mine that guage was not available, or at least i couldn't find it .

I have Autometer "Z" series gauges for EGT, Tranny Temp, and Boost. I have the Westach FP gauge. I'm happy with all of them, although I had to have the FP sender replaced under warranty. Geno's gave me great service on that, by the way. As a heads-up: I ordered the 0-15psi FP gauge the first time. After I replaced my LP, the gauge kept sticking at the top. I had to go to the 0-30psi gauge as my fuel pressure is about 16psi at idle.

Moose 10,

Love my Autometer Ultra Lites, but what fuel pressure gauge are they telling you that you can use?

At the shop i work at we went from installing isspro to autometers and like installing the autometers over the isspro's. Plus the autometers have quite a few colors/styles, and i think they just look better. But i guess thats personal opinion. And yes they do make 0-60 boost gauges in most of there colors now. The pro comp silver 0-60 just recenently came out. The silver gauge is probably the most common collor we install.

I've had my Autometer ultra-lites in for over a year now about 30k and have had no problems. They dont match but I didnt want them to if I did I'd have went with Isspro but I like these just fine. When they come out with a 60psi boost gauge in their "cobalt" series I'm going to switch to them.

I'm running AutoMeter Sport-Comps (pyro and 35 psi boost) in my work truck, they've been in for a year and are working great. I plan to put a set of Z-series Autometers in my Dodge 'cuz I want a 60 psi boost gauge. The only thing I don't like is the way they set the exhaust probe up, you need to buy a compression sleeve and nut to make it fit in a manifold. I think they assume the probe will go post-turbo.

Anyone know of a 100PSI boost gauge? I'm currently running a spare from my air compressor since the PM3 reads off the MAP sensor and is limited to 55PSI...
