Looking for the most economical (cheapest) fuel pressure guage that is still accurate and reliable. What brand(s) and type do you recommend? Also, where is a good place to purchase?

The truth is that you can use ANY pressure guage as a fuel pressure guage - it doesnt even have to be lighted (unless you drive at night a lot)...

That, a needle valve (or pressure snubber), some air brake line & fittings and you have a fp guage for under $40

 

go to vulcanperformance.com. I got the fuel pressure test kit for $50 I think and just ran the line into the cab and mounted under the dash. Works great its been hooked up a over a year now no problems (knock on wood!!)
