Gauges

I am looking at getting a set of gauges in my truck but I dont really want to mount them to the a-pillar. I was wondering if anyone knew of kits that mount them overhead? i see the new style has them but not the 2nd gen. I did this in my jeep and like it alot. Just not sure if it will look good in a ram. Anyone have some pics?

http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AUM18020.htm these are what i am refering to, I am not very good at explaining things

Also is running 75hp injectors on stock fuel system a good idea?

You can get the ones made for the 3rd gen Dodge and make it fit. The only thing that I'm aware of that needs to be done is to move your mirror down some.......other than that it should work. I know there are a few guys on here that have done it.

If you don't have any gauges or mods done yet i would buy an Edge Juice with Attitude. This way you will have all the gauges you need plus an adjustable chip to go with them and it will cost about the same as a full set of gauges with a mount. My 2 cents, Eric

Ellerman...I asked that in a thread I started. I dont have any gauges put in yet but will by the end of next week. I was wondering if I should just go with the Edge Juice with Attitude. But I dont want anything to kill my stock components in my truck.

I don't have one, yet, but yes you get a fuel pressure sensor, and a EGT probe, the rest of the data is taken from the truck's ECM and its sensors. You can go to the Edge website and download the installation instructions. Also the Edge Juice with Attitude can be run without tapping the pump wire, it will act like an Edge EZ, with just one power setting. This won't kill the components in your truck, then when/if you're ready, you can tap the pump wire and enjoy the extra power. I'm doing research, haven't decided which to buy yet.

The Edge Juice with Attitude comes with everything needed for EGT, fuel pressure, trans. temp, boost, oil pressure, intake temp and a bunch of other nonsense and can be had for just over $600.

If you keep it set low, and don't just hammer it your stock clutch will last quite a while. The lift pumps are a crap shoot even stock.

i agree that you can get this edge juice and get all of the readings, but IMHO, there ain't anything better/more accurate than a needle guage.

and if you want a great set of guages, a good price, everything you need to install, and great customer service, then go to www.dieselmanor.com

i know others will agree with me on this.
