Gauge suggestions
OK, so I bought my truck a few months ago and I am pretty new to the Diesel thing. I've seen talk about various gauges that you all seem to think are neccessary. Well, I am here to ask the pro's, what do you suggest, and what are essential? Thanks for the input gents.

The 24 valve trucks really need to monitor fuel pressure to keep the injection pump alive. I would also add pyro/EGT and turbo boost.
You can use either mechanical or electrical action, but keep in mind that some of the higher priced gauges have what they call stepper motors for action, which is a small electrical motor that gives a super precise movement.
Add an isolator to the fuel pressure gauge to keep fuel out of the cab, or go with an electrical action for the same results.
Look around at the different brands and I am sure you will find what you want as far as the style of gauge.
