Gauge question.

The turbo needs a load of some kind to get motivated, it sems. Idle is always 0. Below 1500 rpm's normally 0, unless pulling. Above 1500, it will start to come up. No load may be less than 5 at 55. With a load, flat land, I see about 7 psi, 600-700 degrees, re-turbo.
I have 4.10, HO. I think these are average numbers. Most I have seen on the boost is 19, but I seldom push it hard.

I got the probe moved pre-turbo yesterday. It seems to be normal temps. As cold as it was yesterday, I didn't have to wait long to get it to shutdown temp.
My boost stays at zero unless I'm going up hill or I am really getting into the go pedal. I pegged it at 34 psi yesterday.

What kind of gauge did you get? My needle is never at zero unless I'm idling. Are you sure it's at 0, or are you just saying that it's pretty close to that.
Good thing you moved the pyro to pre-turbo. Post-turbo doesn't really tell you anything, you'll melt your piston before the gauge tells you.

Yea it probably does. Try this. Drive at 65-70 mph on the freeway on flat ground and let us know how much you're boosting. If the needle still shows 0, then you definately have a leak. Make sure the ferrule on the tubing that connects to the gauge is good. Next step would be to get new tubing (runs about $6 at Autozone).
