gatorback belt ?

i need to replace the accessory belt on my 2002. i hear the goodyear gatorback is the belt to get so i can get rid of the squel when i shut off the truck. i looked under the faq section, but the part number is too small to read and my printer isnt working since my wife somehow lost the printer cable when she moved everything from one bedroom to the next. so, anyone know the part number or an equivelent belt form napa or something?

You can magnify the page of a PDF with the little magnify glass tool found up thar on the toolbar
(of the Acrobat reader)

Part number from the tech facts for a 2002 gatorback is

4080810/8pk2055

Don't know what that means,
but the part number for 1994-1998 was the 4080810,
1999-2000 is 5080810

Not sure why the 2002 would go backwards to the 12valve belt,
unless the 8pk2055 is an addendum or something.

The # 4080810 is the belt number for 12 valve, the 8PK2055 is the Napa number. You have to make sure to ask for a Gatorback, if you just give them the number they will cross it with the house belt. Best bet is to tell them what year you have and specify Gatorback only.

The first number only relates to the material the belt is made of. Thus a 5080810 is essentially the same as 4080810.

Functional Part Number Gives You The Size Of A Belt
Example #4080810

1st digit (4) represents a K section Poly V-belt.

2nd and 3rd digit gives the number of ribs.

4th, 5th, and 6th digit are the length in inches.

7th digit is tenth of an inch.

Part number 4080810 would be a K section Poly-V belt, eight ribs wide, with a length of 81 and 0/10 inches.
