got mine from tom he welds on a 4inch exhaust flange instead of the reducing elbow. i love mine but would have gone stage 3, i have stage 2.
mine was 1550 but had been on a truck. new was 1750 i think from him without trying to talk price down.

I agree with Kenny, the GT3788R stage 3 is a good pick for guys running around the 450 to 500 rwhp area. A diesel mag had a truck run 500+ hp, but I'm sure that amount of ponies, you would have some high egt's. The GT3788R has a bit larger turgine and housing. Same size of compressor as the stage 2, I think. The stage 2 makes for a decent twin turbo secondary. I have to put the plug in for twins.

Mike if you order the custom stage 3 it has the compressor off the GT4088 with a 64.7mm inducer and 88mm exducer. That is the turbo both myself and Mopar Man are running. Also has 72.6mm turbine in a .89ar housing, set up for a Hx40 down pipe.

Hot rod, Is it the same turbine housing as the stage 3? I'll have to check into it for my next build-up as I want to put together a whizzy set once I get this stuff figured out. Trick is that you have to try a few different set-ups to land on what you really want.

Mike are you talking about the stage 3 from Garrett, if so its a totally different housing. I see one of the guys above says Tom welded on 4" set up on his. Mine is not welded on it is a factory housing set up for the HX40 down pipe.

I think the stage 2 is the way to go for me. I was talking to Mike R. at The power shop and with what i have in the truck and my DDP 110's he was think a 62/12 so i call still tow. 62/14 or 64/12 might be a little laggy for towing. Any thoughts?? I could call Lenny at DDP and get one of his turbos. I heard they are pretty sweet but i don't think they are ball bearing turbos.
