Garmon 5-6k GSK

I figure there's got to be a few of these out now, so how are the 5-6k Garmon governor springs running? How's the driveability and pedal sensitivity relative to the lightened governor setups? Thanks.

Chris

I have Haisleys 5ks in my 13mm pump and there are surprisingly smoother then expected. I have a guy come up last week and take me for a ride in his 12v with a 12mm pump and Schied 5k's and they were extreamly touchy. Dont have any info on Garmons though.

Thanks, guys. I'm running a lightened governor setup that'll turn 5900 right now, but I'm considering sacrificing a little top end if I can get a lot of driveability back. I realize that any setup turning a lot of rpm will be touchy, but I think there's got to be something out there smoother than what I've got now - sounds like both your setups are nice.

What kind of rpm do you get out of your Haisley and CDS gsk's?

Mine is set for 4500 under load...but free rev's over 5K. I'm pretty sure they could get you over 6K with the right stuff
