Fuse for pyro amplifier box

Fuse for pyro amplifier box
I'm installing Isspro EV gauges in my truck, and need some electrical help here. My pyro came with the signal amplifier box which needs a power feed. The directions say to use ignition-on power. I grounded the black wire to the dash chassis and ran the red one into the fuse panel, hot side of #16 (spare). I was thinking about it, and there is no fuse in here. What amp fuse should I run inline?
I've emailed Isspro, just wondering what everyone else has been doing. BTW, I'll post their reply when I hear back

I installed a Painless Wiring 7 circuit fuse panel (4 Hot with key ON - 3 constant Hot) to handle the load of my aftermarket accessories without resorting to 'tapping' existing fused circuits.

Fuse #16 is open and un-used, so I took the easy path and used it

Just got this from ISSPRO:
"Normally these would be connected to a fused circuit. A 5 to 10 amp circuit would provide plenty of protection for the EV gauge amp box."
I've been running for a few days with the box connected to a 10A fuse in slot #16.
