I recently bought some Stage 3 edge injector nozzles for my 02' dodge 4x4. I heard from one of my roomate's friends that if I put them in without having a perfomance pump, my truck is likely to go haywire. Is this likely to happen? If so, where can I find a good one without breakin the bank.

I assume your concerned about low fuel pressure??

Just monitor your gauge, but I would not expect a serious problem with just those injectors. Don't know your Bully Dogs HP level but if you keep FP over 8 psi with your throttle, you'll find out if you need after market fuel pump or not. You won't hurt anything trying it out!

Do a search on installing tips, if you have not done it before. There are some important Do's & Dont's, from what I hear.

You could go with a Vulcan big line kit and a holley Blue tied into the hard lines back by the tank for $200 or so. I have Scotty fitting and a Blue and see 24 psi @ idle and 20 @ WOT!! Vulcan and a Blue should put you close to that.

 

Where could I find do's and don'ts on installing injector nozzles? I've looked and looked everywhere.
