allright so i jest bought my truck 3 weeks ago and my stock fuel pump is going the dealer i bought it from is going to replace it and has agreed to upgrade it to what i want if i pay the difference between the stock and a different pump what are your suggestions for a new fuel pump

What 99 cummins is askin is, lift pump or injection pump? Next question, what year truck do you have? So the dealer will pay the difference, do you know what $ you are starting with from the dealer? Do you have some $ to put towards a pump? Do you know about the RASP, FASS, FASS II or AirDog? How much do you want to spend? Do you want to put a kit together yourself or off the shelf type of pump?

Rasp is an aftermarket mechanical fuel pump with electrical pump backup. Most expensive of the replacment pumps.

Fass, Fass II and AirDog are electrical. Fass II has no filters, you use the filter housing and filters already on the truck, it is also the least expensive of the pumps mentioned above.

FASS and Airdog have filters built into the fuel pump housing, however they are more expensive than the Fass II but less expensive than the RASP.

So how much you wanna spend?
