Fuel pressure #'s

After my fuel gauge install these are the numbers it is showing me.
At idle just under 14psi
cruising at 65 mph, about 11 psi
WOT just over 4 psi
truck has 53,000 on it.

Your WOT pressure is looking pretty sad.
Has the fuel filter been changed recently?

My reading says you will be fine.
Some tests show that any positive pressure at full throttle is ok. The injection pump opens a return flow that lets the pump get cooled. This is why the pressure drops as soon as you move the throttle. Have you noticed that?
Stock pumps though, will not allow flow when you lift the throttle. I think most aftermarket IP's are modified to increase cooling flow at a lifted throttle. The IP has a pump built into it.
Also a pusher pump is a good idea, just don't need to go over 14-15 psi.

Scotty's or Vulcan's fuel line/banjo bolt kits would help eliminate some of that drop. I used a vulcan kit and relocated a new oem LP to the frame and now I get no less than 12 WOT.

4 is kinda close to 0

The larger fuel line kit will definitely help with the drop at WOT.

Before I put my kit on, I was around 13-14 at idle and it would drop to 6-7 at WOT. After the kit, I idle at 16-17 and don't drop below 10 at WOT

I agree with Justin. Having just seen the lattest version of Scotty's Fuel Flow Kit, I was impressed.
Raised the WOT FP from 5 psi to 10 psi on an 02 HO CTD.

But I don't understand being able to pull FP down to 4 psi with just 275 injectors? Sounds like maybe a dying lift pump...No?

0-30 psi. With the extra fuel mods that you should have it is possible to have more than 15 psi. Plus, due to the construction of mechanical guages, they are less accurate of the bottom and top of the range - so a 0-30 will be slightly more accurate.

0-15 will show the critical range, but it'd be nice to have a 0-30 when your fp is above 15.

My dad was seeing the same readings on his 02 before we installed the Walbro pump. Now he has 16-17psi(measured pre-filter) and no less than 10psi at WOT and thats at 38-40lbs of boost.
