I hooked up my mechanical gauge with no isolator. Just a stainless steel
hose assembly rated at 1500 psi. Lift pump puts out 16 psi , I think that
enough of a safety factor

What does the silicone do over the anti-freeze mixture?????
I disconnected mine one more time,, it was leaking at the gauge,, went and bought the "self aligning ferrules" .75 cents a piece and put them on the plastic tubing,,, these fittings make the system much better,,, we'll see,, so far so good.
Oh, by the way it was not the issolator's fault,, it was mine.
