Fuel pressure help!!!

I replaced both fuel filters (inline and stock canister) about 3 weeks ago, in the last week I have had some fuel pressure issues. At idle I have about 19 psi, last week I had 21, at acceleration, at times, it goes down to 12 psi, other times its fine and stays at 18-19psi, at full throttle it still goes down to 12 psi. On the way home from work today I put my edge on 2X5 and gave it about 3/4 throttle, it revved to about 2500rpm then almost seemed like the turbo spooled and took off, but I was already building boost. Also when I stop the truck after its warm, and turn the key back to on, it doesn't sound like the inline pump is turning on and I get no pressure on my gauge, but the truck will still start normal. if the truck is sitting longer I can hear it come on and I get pressure to 20 psi then it drops as normal before I start it.

I need to know what my issue is with my pressure, the inline filter I used is http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku
I'm not sure if its correct for using on a diesel, but it seemed to work great for 2 weeks...I had a lot of pressure and it stayed at full throttle.

Where should I start looking?? thanks for looking,.

This is about the 3rd thread I've started in the last few months about fuel pressure and filters, and hopefully this will be the first I get a reply

You have plenty of pressure. If the inconsistency is annoying to you, I suggest a little A-B experiment with your Summit filter.

I'd say you have nothing wrong and it's all well as she goes...

You think so? I just find it odd that with a 18 month old filter on it stayed pretty close to 18 or 19 psi, now it drops down to 12, but I guess at full throttle as long as its staying at 12 psi it can't be that bad right?

Sorry-- I have to speak the truth. The reality is that I can use my incredible powers of analysis to get someone thinking about how something might pan out, but when I comes to DATA (which is what matters)-- then I've "got nothin'"
