Fuel Pressure Gauge Sending Unit Location

As the title says, i've got my gauges and got an electronic fuel pressure gauge. I'm wondering, where should i mount the sending unit? i want post filter so i know what the VP is seeing, but am not sure where to mount it up. ANY suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!!

i have a tapped banjo bolt that goes into the bottom of the filter. i used a small plumbing extension, shutoff valve, and screwed the sending unit into that.

My first (and only) experience with electric fuel presure gauges on a CTD is this....the needle tends to vibrate a lot!
I'd be more prone to mount it away from the filter (which is mounted on the block). Post filter is smart....I prefer mid line, between the filter and the VP-44. JMO.

RowJ, would you just remove the line from the filter to the VP shown in the pic. cut 3-4" out, put a brass T in with rubber line connecting it all together w/ 4 or 6 clamps and mount the sender to that? and can i get new washers from Dodge or would i have to order banjo bolts along w/ them? and what are the torque specs on these two banjo bolts?

and Lotero, where did you get this tapped banjo bolt that you speak of?

Thanks guys!

Been 4 yrs since I had a Dodge fuel filter but yes! Cut the line half way (rubber line already there....no?) and install a T.
I might also replace the hard line with a 'big line' Kit for better lift pump protection... but that can come later.
I don't remember the fuel line coming off the top of the filter...... think mind came off the bottom??
