I don't know if all liquid filled guages will be quiet. But my little Jeg's guage is. I had rattle with the Hewitt once the isolator failed (about a year).

Funny you say that because my needle valve is now leaking a tiny bit and I was actually thinking about getting the snubber from DieselManor. I ended up not getting it anyway because the shipping would cost too much on such a small part.

PureDieselPower has a snubber for $3, it took the noise out of my FP gauge
