I just installed mine on the cowling under the windshield wiper, sticks out just in front of the hood. Put a long enough hose on it to open the hood with and attached a metal strap to the hood itself to run the braided hose through. This way I can read it from my seat seat but it keeps it out of the cab.

CU4life, no problem, figured what you meant-I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong! Also, stands to reason low pressure, oil resistant hose [30 psi] should work but gotta admit the pretty ss braids are nice. Yet standard colored lines [I think its yellow designates Dfuel] might be pretty too!

99 cummins, you're truly gifted! HAVING RESOLVED THE LIABLE ISSUE, safety concerns, direct connect reliability and location garrantying fair weather viewing pleasure! What a concept, and sensible too! You got my vote to go to the big DC.
Seriously, thanks for the input, it sure beats a lot of trial and error. I,m probably going to mount a pair of isspros [fpg and one other, maybe vacumm] on the dash, right of center to ballance things with the 3 on the pillar yet visable to my failing eye sight . Now, all I have to do is get Shovelhead to bore the holes while I fret and look the other way! Thanks again you all.....STY
