Fuel pressure gauge

Needing to install a fuel pressure gauge on my 02 6speed. Any recommendations, what/where to get one?

Diesel Manor stocks a nice gauge. Be sure to choose the one that goes high enough to show YOUR pressure. On my 3rd Gen I only need to see 20 psi, yours might be considerably higher depending on your 'school of thought' on the matter.
google DM and then check out their gauge section. Theses guys are a world of info and the directions for their 3 gauge piller pod set up was actually written in english!

get a glycerine filled 30 psi gauge from ww granger for about $20 a copper line oil pressure gauge installation kit from autozone for $11 and a taped banjo bolt from genosgarage.com for $8 and you have the best.

I've been running an ISSPRO mechanical guage plumbed with a stainless braided line from the filter to the gauge on the top of my dash since 2000.
Not one drip.

Use quality componenents and good installation practices the first time, and you won't have to worry about a "Do-Over".

I have ordered two different pressure gauges from grainger. They both read 4 psi out of the box. Is there any way to zero these things?

Depends on how much money you want to spend, how much effort you want to go through on install, how nice you want it to look, and how accurate you want it to read. Any reason you're only after a fuel pressure gauge?

Yes, call Grainger.
They stand behind what they sell. Most likely they will send you new gauges totally free of charge and won't even want the old ones back.
You may want to put a little pressure to them with air first, they may settle back to zero after the first use.

Hadn't looked at gauge prices in a while, what a rip off.
$250 plus for a fuel pressure gauge setup that I could put together myself for under $25.

Do tell..... I'm very interested to hear what you'd setup.

I exaggerated $25, it's more like $15 using this gauge, a needle valve and tap my own banjo bolt.

Interesting. I wonder how well it would hold up to diesel? I'm was thinking about building my own test gauge but after pricing out the parts, I may simply save time and money by purchasing a pre assembled kit from a vender.

I've used the glow shifts on 2 trucks and just put a 3in one on my current truck. They've all been good for me.
