Fuel Plates Please help me understand

What does a #6 do different then a #10 Or even a 0 or vise versa? I have a #6 that came in the pump and I run DDP Stage 4 injectors. Low end is great but lose top end pretty bad. Could it be its not feeding enough fuel to the IP?

I don't know what the #6 plate looks like but it *could* be defueling or you could not have enough timing... A #10 gradually increases fuel on the low end and then on the very top end starts to defuel so that EGT's are less of an issue. A #100 is the same as a #10 except no defueling on top, while a #0 is full fuel throughout the RPM range.

I have the timing set at 16.5 and seems to run real well except it feels like it defuels at certain times.
