Fuel Leaking A Lot And I Cant Find The Leak

Alright, i have a nasty fuel leak and i cant find where it is coming from. It is coming from the rear of the engine and it is wet with diesel everywhere and i cant find it for nothing, i dont know what it is. Is there any common leaks like that it is leaking down my transmission and into the torque convertor and smoking.
Just put a new holley black, vp44 and injectors that is all that changed

HELP

The fuel return comes off the back of the head. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ht=Fuel+return

It's a real booger to get to, but it is a steel line coming off of the pump (going toward the firewall) and right at the back of the fuel filter it goes to a rubber line down toward the trans and goes back to a steel line. This rubber section is usually the problem.

Not sure that this is your problem but its worth mentioning...the injector tube orings could be leaking on #6, when you did the injectors and pump did you replace the orings or not? when I did mine I didnt replace them the 1st time then developed a bad fuel leak but it wouldnt leak at idle only under a load, if 1234 or 5 is leaking you will probably see fuel puddle along the side of engine by the intake manifold

I guess I'll chime in as well, I'm sure this is not your problem but when you drain the water separator on the fuel filter the valve will sometimes stick open even though you think it's closed. If this is the case just push down on the top of it and it will pop back in. I hope for your sake it is as simple as this.

Mike D is correct, my money is on the return line [#9 in the diagram] that bolts to the back of the head. It has a banjo bolt & if it is overtorqued can cause the washer seals to leak. The bolt can possibly be too loose causing the leak.

Did you check/change the seals on the banjo bolt [2 washers]?

Check the o-ring seal on the fuel filter cap.
