fuel injector lines????

Hey I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the fuel lines to the injectors with steel braded lines? or some kind of flex hose? i was thinkin about makin my own intake and getting rid of the hard fuel lines, and just having lines run right over the whole valve covers. That way I can change injectors really ez and dont have hard fuel lines to worry about bending. What kinda PSI is run in those lines?

Doogie , dont even try , it is critical the lines are correct length for timing of the injection. and dont believe there is fittings with that size diameter to make them either. even braided lines would flex out, stick with the thick injector lines you have. You didnt bend them did you ?

IIRC, these lines carry around 16k - 18K psi. (yes, that's 18000 ) Do not screw with them. If you were holding a line that had a leak and got diesel injected into your bloodstream, it will likely be fatal.

braided lines would never hold the pressure and if it did it wouldn't be for very long.
