Fuel filter Question

How often do you all change your fuel filter?? My fuel preasure is dropping to 5lbs if I get on it hard. This just started yesterday, I have about 3500 miles on this filter.
Thanks
Eric

You could take a look at it, or just go ahead and change it to be safe and see if that helps. I noticed my truck hasn't been revving to what it normally does if i floor it. So I went and bought myself a filter today, changed it, and my RPM's are back!

I change mine every other oil change.

5K oil, 10K fuel.

Unless of course, I see fuel pressure dropping, as I'm reading post filter.

The new filter fixed it. I cut apart the old filter and do not see a problem. I guess it just needs a new one every 3500 miles.

If that is the case, I would be changing where I bought my fuel! I just finished reading where another person went 82K before having to change. I just pulled mine yesterday after 30K on it, and if I hadn't just bought a bunch at the NAPA sale, I would have put this one right back in.

In the last 7000 miles I have not bought fuel at the same place twice. This didn't start until I bought some B20. I was out and that was all that was available. Maybe this will get over it eventually and the filters will last longer. No more biocrap for me.

Well that explains it. The first time you run bio the fuel filter can get clogged up with all the junk the bio is removing.
