they are pretty good tires. very good snow and all around traction, thought they do not have any siping. you will like them. ive seen some sets (on daily driven vehicles) wear really well, others have worn bad. i think it depends on your ways of driving.

they also work very well on my rockcrawler, however they have a different rubber compound and my own version of tread.

The reason for not much bulge is the tire place over inflated them. Thats a pic of the front, it was @ 60+psi, the rears were @ 50psi. I adjusted the fronts to 46psi and the rear to 42psi. Max inflation is 50psi according to the sidewall.

MTRs would be going on my truck this weekend if I didn't come upon a set of 315 Toyo Open Countrys for the same price you got your Goodyears for.

I've got a set of 33/12.50R15s on my Rubicon. This is the 3rd Jeep this set has been on. 80K+ on them and they are just under 1/2 worn.

In my experience with these tires they are great in the rain, great in the snow, and while they are no Super Swamper off road, they are great there too.

As far as picking up nails, this set has yet to have a puncture.

I will be replacing these with the same in the spring.
