The fuel pressure guage started to fluctuate it runs at its normal 16 at idle and 13 going down the road and I have never seen it go below 10 but now if I am going down the road and cruising at 60 or so it will just drop to around 8 or 9 stay there a few seconds then go back to normal then a little bit later it will do it again. I have found if I put the pedal to the floor for a second or so it will go back to normal for a little bit. The only thing I have done different lately is I started running lucas fuel additive. Is this a hint from my truck telling me that I am going to need a new LP soon this one isn't even 4 months old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try cleaning the electrical contacts in the plug to the pump.
They could be corroded after all the winter salt & slop.
