tryed my best to get a snubber shot for those that don't know what it is.......hard to see, but its a .020" hole. I measured it. that is the only entrance for fluid in to the guage....

That .020 hole looks like every gauge I've ever seen without a snubber, even the cheapos.
Most snubbers have more like a 0.0025 hole.

I think digital gauges are cool. The major problem they have is that they are still an electric gauge, and electric gauges tend to be less accurate and less reliable than mechanical gauges, and usually more expensive.

I don't have any problems with fluctuations at all in my 24-valve. I don't even run a needle valve, I just tap directly into the Shrader valve on the VP44, then to a rubber fuel line, then I use 1/8 copper tubing directly to the gauge in the cab. Absolutely no fluctuations, steady as a rock.

However, on my 12-valve its a different story, I need the needle valve to just be barely open to keep the gauge steady.

I dunno bud, I've used hundreds of guages from various manufacturers thats a pretty standard hole. you are looking at the hole inside the circle right?

I can't believe 25 ten thousands for a guage hole being very useful, getting plugged far too easily. 2.5 thou..... I've never seen one that small.

But the new kits are changed they have a fitting in the elbow to allow hooking your gauge directly to the VP44 or fuel filter...

But I would suggest stay by the filter there is less pulses. The filter housing dampens some of the pulses that the VP44 creates...
Thanks for that info, Mine is at the Fuel Filter housing, with the Vulcan kit, and I always wodered if it was the best place.

Believe me .0025 is the most common hole size on a snubber, close to the diameter of a human hair. I also deal with gauges all the time, most have the hole size like your picture but don't function as a snubber.

Well Dr. I was talking to my self one day and I said self there has to be a way. So I went to the store found this ---^--- an then two cut the cig lighter end off and two became one. I ran one wire under the cig lighter fuse because its 12v to come on with the key and then the grounded the remaining line. Then I stuck it just to the top left of the guage so it shown on the guage and lighted the cup holders better. So now I have one light left that I will probably add to the passenger side. The next evolution in this project is I am going to look for a dimmer switch for like a ceiling fan or what not and mount it up inside the dash out of the way and hidden so it don't look gaudy so I can turn the lights down if I wish.
