I recently purchased a Westach fuel pressure gauge kit from Geno’s and could not get the LAHF2 line to connect to the Schrader valve on the banjo bolt on the VP-44. The kit was good deal as it included a Westach 0-30 psi gauge, a mounting plate for my “cubby hole” in the dash, a sending unit, a light and a 30” hose that has a Schrader to 1/8” NPT female fitting. The Schrader fitting end of the hose was not deep enough to start the fitting on the Schrader valve. I even removed the banjo bolt and tried to start the two together but could not. I called Geno’s (who was very helpful) and I may need to send the hose back to get a new tapped banjo and hose that has a 1/8” NPT male fitting. The hose that they sent was supposed to work on year 00’ – 02’. Does my 02’ have a weird Schrader valve on it? Has anyone else had this problem?
