Ford trans. on a Cummins?

I thought i read something on here about someone putting a Ford E4od auto trans behind there Cummins.
Can this really be done?

You can buy numerous adapters from Cummins that can give you several options. We have a 4 speed ford man behind our 4bt and an SAE2 on the BTA in the 95 specon.

I know maddog has a E4OD in his 12v F350.

I also know that Red Stroke has a ford tranny behind his 12v, not sure which tranny though. I think it is that same tranny he has in his 99 stroker, but not sure. The only thing that you need is the adapter plate that mounts to the engine which has holes in to that would line up with the tranny you want.
