Ford D60....direct swap??
What goes into swapping in a Ford D60? Is there a particular year to pull an axle from?
Reading other threads on here got me thinking. I dont like the CAD, sealed bearings, not having hubs, etc. My 4wd doesnt work and I know I will one day have to replace front bearings. If I could avoid all that with a good junkyard D60 I would be willing to do that.

A lot more complicated than it originally looks.
The Furd 60 is narrower, making some compromises in the bracketry, do a search here on Ford D60, LanceD I believe is who did the swap.
I have a 79 Kingpin 60 to do the swap, but I am thinking of making bolt on brackets instead of welding, not sure how it will all work out yet.
If not, I will probably do the EMS conversion myself.
