Fluidamper...WOW
Finally got to put mine on today with the help of a couple friends in the chapter (Thanks Scott and Travis) and WOW what a difference. The power seems to come on alot smoother, motor is quieter, and it pulls hard right thru to 3600 rpms!
Gotta say that it also really quiets down and takes vibrations out of the driveline and clutch. The trans and clutch had no rattles now and it was very fun to drive.
About half way home it started raining and I got into the pedal coming off a ramp and in 4th gear the power kinda snuck up on me and next thing you know I am sideways and the tach is reading 3800 and the truck was just smooth as can be!
Well worth it for the folks who are up and over 450hp or so!

It really does make the truck sound better & smoother. I think it is a great investment & worth every penny. I got mine from Advanced Diesel Technology 304-864-3399.

Glad to hear that it is doing what you wanted. I was there anyway so getting dirty helping out was nothing. I might just have to put that on my list of thing to do one of these days.

remember thats only if you are doing the drill pin kit for high HP and 3600+ rpms... i did it for added security, but if you dont do the drill pin kit, this install can be done in less than an hour with a lift and prolly a little over an hour if you are laying on your back.
its basically, take the belt off the alt. pulley to make it loose, take 4 bolts out, replace damper with new fluidamper, put bolts back in, then tighten/tq them down using whatever method you can to keep the motor from turning while torquing. then put the belt back on...
