That's good to know. In the other post about this subject they seemed to think the center portion not being the same size would cause a problem

I don't know enough about it to know if it will or not, anyone with some more expertise know for sure?

I'm just saying that THEY say it is a problem and YOU say it isn't. I understand what you are saying that the hub of the converter centers itself on the crankshaft. To be honest I have never seen the setup on the cummins so I have no first hand experience.

I also just noticed you have a 3rd gen, my bad. It could possibly be a different scenario for yours but I think most billet flexplates are 94-07. I am gonna try it because their were no red flags.

After further investigation the 6.7 flywheel will not work on my truck as the flexplate does do the centering of the converter hub and not the crank shaft. Stock flexplate hole is smaller than the crankshaft hole. Oh well stock one aint cracked anyway.

Well the PRW plate went on last week and it is working perfect. Fit great, no problems at all. Looks very stout too, so I don't anticipate breaking it. Would guess that it is as strong or stronger than the laminated ones out there.
