Flares for the old girl
#16
I wouldn't paint the flares if your trucks paint is faded, it will be REALLY noticable especially on a dark truck like yours...........some body shops can match the fade, but it usually doesn't look the best. I would just stick with the black for now, they can always be painted later

Unpainted Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender's.
2 inches of coverage, still an inch or so of tire sticking out.
Required by law here if the tire sticks out 2 or more inches from the vehicle.

The Xenon and factory flares are identical. They are certainly the best fit and finish IMHO. The Bushwackers are ok but they are very flimsy as compared to the Xenons and their mounting sucks (this is for the Bushwacker OEM style flares, I have no experience with the others)
Stillen is also another nice looking durable polyurathane flare, again not flimsy like bushwackers.

Gorgeous truck MNorby!
BB, you may want to consider a contrasting color like grey metallic for the flares. I like bushwacker's pocket style in silver.

The front tires (315 70 16, when my truck was lifted) did stick out about an 1" or so. The rears were completely covered.
The tires were fitted on a 10" wheel and that does make a difference...
Crapy pic, i though this one showed tire coverage... I will have to try to find another one.

I personally like the Bushwacker extendafenders. My dad bought some for his 04 f150 cause he had 325/60/18 nittos and got them painted the same two tone.
Tyler for urs they would match your paint as close as possible...if you ask them to cause like in your position the color has faded.
