First ride with my new Mach 5's

I had some time today & decided to install my new Mach 5's. I took the truck for a 10 mile test drive & the weather here is around 46*. I'm comparing these injectors to my II Dragon flies. I was running Smarty sw4 revo, with all settings on default. I set my Adrenaline on PL08 because these are the settings I usually run with the Dragon flies.

The 5's are definately stronger than my flies, idle just as smooth. They are way smokier than the flies, but thats to be expected with 200hp injector. Cruising egts seem about the same as my flies, which surprised me. All in all, I am very impressed with F1 injectors, they live up to their reputation. The part I was really impressed with is the datalogger when I got back home.

Max rpm 3350
Max egts 1547
max mph 89
max boost 52

Awesomw to hear man, I was running my buddy in his 02 cummins the other nite and my datalogger said this:

Max rpm was around 3400
Egts were around 1425
mph was over 90
boost was 51

Mine runs close to yours, I need to watch the rpms though for I have no springs.lol

does the adrenaline do the data logging or what? I would like to see what mine is doing

What injectors/turbo you have?

Yep, Adrenaline does datalogging, as well as 1/4 mile & 0-60.

Not my scanner. Cheap Actron junk. I'm not sure if the Snap on stuff can do it or not.

I remembered something last night. I have the custom tuning on the Adrenaline & I was driving around with fuel stretch on 2200, timing 10* & min for tps & pump on "0". Not to mention having the Smoke machine loaded "Smarty". These sticks might not smoke as bad as I thought! I'm gonna play with some settings next couple days & report back. Lowering these settings should also lower my egts.

what were you egts with the ii flies and what size were they j lent. just curious

Try less timing down low to help with pre boost smoke. How does the boost/ egts compare to the old sticks?

They were custom cut Dragon flies, Brady said 150hp. My egts with them were well in check. I would see 1300 max running the same settings.

About 200-250* hotter, Boost is about the same, but I did gain some power. I'll post some more info as I drive it, I'm probably gonna go buy another camera & try to get some video for you guys. I need to get a few vids that I've promised guys anyways. I am wondering myself if I can still hit 4k driving these injectors. Adrenaline only ofcourse.

I am runnin th BD Special 64/14 and DDP 200's, I am also running the costum tuning with the pump stretch at 2000 and the timing at 10.0 but only 85% timing scale, the min tps and pump are 0% too. Still trying all kinds of different settings.

Yeah, but lets remember, I was also running Smarty stacked with my Adrenaline. I'm gonna lower the stretch & unload Smarty & I bet the truck will run much cooler. With Smarty alone, I was getting on it & highest I saw was 1100*. 00BRam, you ever dyno your setup? I'm hitting the rollers here soon & I'd like to know what I should expect. I'm not expecting too high, my pump has like 90k miles now.
