Your third pic is confusing to me? Does the air enter the S400 at that steep an angle? Or is that the turbine housing? ....just curious as this is first kit from Rip I have seen??
Not sure what you are asking the hotpipe leaves the exhaust housing of the 35 and pretty much makes a right angle to enter the housing of the 400?? Looks to be unrestrictive....

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this so admins take it away if need be. I'm in now way affiliated with Source Automotive other than a customer.

The price for the unfinished taked together kit was $2400
The price for the 14cm WG exhaust housing was $500
Buy both together and Rip takes a hundred off for a total of $2800

The kit included it all except for install PICTURES!!

So did you have to do any cutting? Just welding? Everything was tacked in the right place right? And that price included the turbo? Wonder what he charges for just the piping kit?

Lets see Just finished twins, started up school again, work slows down, have to eat, 50 bucks is a lot of meals!!! I want to though, anybody know of a good dyno in the Denton/North Dallas area??

Oh and MIG, A good bit of welding was required to fill joints where tubing was shrunk to slide into another section etc... Its all personal preference at that point. You could just run one nice bead and leave it with no grnding but I wanted it as smooth as I could get...

No cutting. (period ) All Tacked. just welding, grinding, blasting, etc.. Turbo included. You'll have to talk to Rip he will work out just about any option you can think of.

Yup! There is a Dyno Jet in Lewisville. But I would wait till the ODRA (Outlaw Diesel Race Association) has another Dyno Day. Usually $40.00 and a chance to meet lots of local CTD owners!

I would have thought it would have been a little less expensive especially since the pipes were unfinished. I guess all in all that is not a bad price, I was just thinking it would be less.

THe price was actually not bad when you consider that everything is included and everything is brand spankin new... turbo new, new exhaust housing, new wastegate, all new gaskets, clamps, boots, etc... By the time I pieced things together the only way I could go cheaper was to buy a used turbo and housing, didn't really want to deal with that headache

I must be crazy, but I've got the same bottom turbo on my truck, and it's too quiet for my taste... I guess I'm used to the sound of a big single
