FASS vs. A1000

FASS vs. A1000
trying to decide which fuel system to go with. i know the fass seems to be the most popular setup around. it is a very nice sytem, however a bit on the pricey side. i also know others who are running the Aeromotive 1000 pumps and have good luck with them also. The A1000 is a decent bit cheaper than the fass, and some have stated that the FASS cannot flow enough volume of fuel on high rpm applications. What are your thoughts/previous experiences?

I love the aeromotive stuff. IMO, the FASS is one of those "trendy" things that gets all hyped up, but it's overpriced and underfeatured.
I'd actually recommend a fuel system featuring the Walbro pump for maximum bang for the buck.
The Glacier Diesel kits are sold right here in the DTR store.

I would run an A1000 marine pump, marine regulator, and marine prefilter. Wana12v is running this setup on his truck and we also have a friend running it on a p-pumped 24 valve. Both trucks run 1/2in lines from the tank to the pump and then from the pump to the injection pump. Both trucks are regulated after then injection pump and use 3/8 return line. Both truck also use a custom home depot built 3/4 to 1/2in pickup. I know that one truck has 45psi at idle and wot still working with the regulator to use feature as boost build the fuel pressure comes up. If you have any question just pm me.

I have not run the Walbro set-up but think I would give it a shot if I needed a LP set-up in the future.
