I was just wondering if the Fass System was worth the money? Or should i just put on a holley blue and bypass the stock LP. Because my holley red and stock LP is not holdin PSI under WOT!

I just installed a 150 FASS system. They are quite expensive. But they look to be a good unit. It was a lot heavier than I expected. Are they worth the money? I don't know yet. It was a toss-up for me between the Walbro system and the FASS. I would have went with the Walbro if they wouldn't have put me on hold for so long. I hung up and ordered a FASS. Simple install and you get rid of the lift pump and filter.

Can't give you a comparison, but I have seen (hand calculated) about a 6% increase in MPG since installing the FASS. Smoother idle, 6-year warranty, etc as well. I also removed the factory filter housing and LP. Sure cleaned up the drivers side of the block. I'm sure others will chime in and tell you that they love their less expensive set-up and I am sure they do. I could afford the FASS and felt that it was the superior system, so I bought it. What can I say? I love it.

i love my fass went with the big filters i think it waas the 150/150 had a holley black, lost it in 5 months, worked good.fass is better, if you were to buy holley instead go with a pro comp black, check on ebay they are cheap and work as good or better than holley. or just go with fass.

i bought a fass a long time ago i was a freshman and it went almost 4 years and then i had to have it replaced with a new fass that i didnt pay for because of warranty and they even gave me a new 6 year. thanks to garrett.

A local shop has the 150 GPH for $650.00 does that sound about right. I just dont want my Fuel Pressure to drop like it do it goes from 17 PSI @ idle, down to 2 PSI @ WOT!

Thats a pretty good price I would go for it. With the FASS I don't think you will be able to pull it much less than 15 psi if any.

FASS prices are remarkable similar where ever you go... from my experience. That price is good. Top quality components (serious overkill, which I like) and I can't drop my FP more than 1-2 psi at WOT!
I would get the 150 Model (bigger filters you can buy anywhere) and the 95 gph or 150 gph pump. I love my 150/150.... three yrs and 100,000+ miles of trouble free service.
I believe I have the 1008 spring...which is a bit higher pressure (really not needed). I get 19 psi idle and never below 17 at WOT. I believe the standard spring idles around 14 psi.

Well that settles it i am going to pick it up in the monrin and put it on saturday, i just dont want to fry my VP-44 again!

I'm running a holley blue and have been for a while. Lost my first one after 3+ years and 50k+ miles. Held 15psi at idle and 11 at wot with everything turned up. Just up and died one die with no warning. Got another one and I'm going strong.

I got a FASS pump and didn't think twice about gettin one after my stock LP went out. They are definitly well built. My 2cent is FASS.

Both will work. Search this site and you will find dozens running either setup. Then of course, are differences:
1. High performance, extra fuel demands: FASS is the winner. More fuel, well fitted to the truck.
2. Holley: adequate for stock truck. Life expectancy lower than FASS on average. Requires more fiddling to make work.
What's right for you? Let your wallet decide. For $650+ you can have FASS, a great system. For $200+ you can have nearly the same, but quite a bit more work will be required on your end.
