FASS springs

so from what your saying about the 95gph and the 150gph the 95gph can push more fuel psi then the 150??? I was thinking of doing the p7100 pump and with me having the 150gph pump that kinda sucks.

Yes.....you have to look at it from a load aspect.......the 150 GPH is Moving twice the fuel than the 95. (The 95 Gerotor is half the size of the 150). The more volume of fuel you push, the more load on the motor. The higher the PSI, the motor load on the motor. This is why the 95 GPH can push more PSI, the initial load is less than the 150 GPH. BUT volume does decrease with an increase in pressure. This is why the 95 GPH might not be best for 70-80 PSI applications.
The way to get around this is use a larger motor that can live at higher Load (Amps). Hence the EM-1002.
Sorx, here is my suggestion to you. I would look into the $175 motor upgrade for your older unit. This will make the unit basically brand new since the pump/motor will be new. Get a 200 GPH 45 PSI kit. Leave all the lines, harness hooked up in the truck and install the New FASS in the truck. Leave the install kit that came with the 200GPH in the box. Then stick your freshened up 150GPH in the box to make a complete kit. This way you have a new install kit, new pump, and Motor to sell to some one with a 98.5-04 truck. I would be willing to bet that you could sell that very easily and recoup some cost on the 200 GPH kit that would be way better for you in the long run if you are looking to P-Pump. Plus a new 4 year wnty on both units. Just make sure the person you sell to fills out the card. Wnty is non transferable. Just a suggestion.

Like Dan said.. Pressure is not the same a flow.. building high pressure with a volume.. will demand a lot of a motor.. pump...
Dan.. I didn't know about the flashing thing.. just a rumor I heard... was curious for other running a different pump.. if there is such a thing...
haha..
