About the same...
I've heard of guys testing them to see how far they can go till they clog up...getting 80,000 to 100,000 miles. Not my idea of a good time.
Actually I switched over to changing once as yr as preventative Mx......... about @ 35,000 miles
It's a big filter!
Baldwin # BT372-10 ....10 micron (same as Stock)
Baldwin # BT372-MPG ....3-5 micron; works well with no restriction at my HP level!
Cost me around $15.00 last Sept. at a Big Rig Supply Store, but any Baldwin dealer will have them.
Have heard replacements for Fleetguard filters from $30.00 to 50.00.
If you don't know Baldwin...they are hugh...and excellent quality.

The more expensive filters are microglass and Stratapore. We highly recomend these. The cheaper priced fitlers (Like the Wix) are paper. These work well, but not as good as the other 2 mentioned. One of those "you pay for what you get" situations.

Correction to my above micron ratings.
I got to an engineer at Baldwin...for the straight scoop!
All filters have a "nominal" rating and an "absolute" rating.
Nominal = 50% efficient at _ microns
Absolute = 98% effective at _ microns
BT372 MPG is Glass filter and ratings are...
nominal- 4 microns
absolute - 20 microns
BT372 10 is not glass and ratings are....
nominal - 10 microns
abosolute - 25 microns
I assume the Dodge factory filter being rated at 10 micron...is a nominal rating. Anyone know??
