fass questions
the fass instructions i recieved with my 150/150 are extremely vague they say nothing about hooking up to the factory hard line or removing the factory hard line. they also say nothing about bypassing factory filter or using factory filter. the fass pick up tube says nothing about capping off the factory pick up. so i hope you all have answers b/c im planning to do the install this comming saturday

Fass
I have the pump only unit, but I also was not overly impressed with the instructions. Removing the factory hard line can be quite easy. Take a small zip tie and compress the plastic tabs on the factory fitting.Tug on the line and.... shazam off it comes! Best of luck.

but removing the factory hard line and replacing with rubber is asking for problems with it getting old or chaffing or something in the road getting thrown up and cutting it? but thats another story. what to do? run the factory hard line or do away with it? im talking about the line on the frame rail.

Leave all the old stuff on there you wont need it. the new suction line will snap right on the stock pick up once the old one is un snapped. that goes into the fass and run the new line out of the fass straight to the injection pump. I pulled the factory line from the old filter housing to the injection pump completly off. you can leave it if you want though.

you can leave it if you want or cap it while you have the tank dropped. i just busted off the plastic snap thing and used one of those little rubber things you put over a tube of caulk to keep it fresh. then zip tie it tight. it keeps crap out
