FASS II void 100,000 mile warr?
ok i took the truck in to a local dodge dealer in austin, they look at it and told me that i have voided my 5 year 100,000 because of the fuel pump i am using....then they charge me 90 bucks for that. IT HAS A INJECTOR PUMP TIMING FAILURE and this is not covered since i am not using one of there great transfer pumps. I am hot, then to top it off i leave after closing time and the hood is not all the way shut and the **** intercooler boot blows off. so i get to put it back on in the Taco Cabana parking lot. I dont know what i am going to do. pump is more than i want to pay for me to put it on, then do i really want to buy another dodge, for always fixed my problems without looking for loops to get out of fixing it.

I second that!!! IMO,certian dealers would like to get paid for warranty work, others obviously dont care

Maybe some local members will chime in with some favorable dealers... a FASSII shouldn't void your warranty. Dodge should pay you money for bypassing the stock lift pump.

well went to another dealer and worked out a deal on an 06 qc 6 speed 4x4 it is still silver. the dealer looked at the truck and said they would give me 20k for it, so i took my subs, amp and toolbox and drove off in the new one. Funny thing is my roomate got an 06 6.0 f350 4x4 with the chrome kit....a bunch of little chrome extras the 20 inch ford rims look nice. The first thing it did was leave a oil spot on the driveway, looks like from the turbo, so it is back at the ford house for the 6.0.
