FASS fitting question

What is the 90 degree fitting needed to install the FASS on a short bed?
Also does anyone have the part number for the high pressure spring?

1/2" npt 90* female elbow from home depot for $.98

Whoever sold you the pump can get the spring kit.

If you bought it recently, it might have it already. only the early ones (like mine) had the lighter spring.

Thanks,
Jason

Depends which FASS your talking about. The unit with the filters (FASS-1) doesn't need any additional fittings. The stand alone pump (FASS-2) could use the fitting Jason posted.

brandon.

Talking about the FASS 1 with filters. Yes I got it recently, but wanted to make sure before I installed it that it had the higher pressure spring.

The full fass doesn't have any "new" springs. it is the same unit they have been selling for years. Only problem with the fass II is that the factory filter housing is more restrictive than they thought. So, a heavier spring was needed. Your FASS I will be just fine. sorry for the confusion, I assumed you had the FASS II by your question.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the help Jason. Do I need to get that 90 degree fitting everyone is talking about to make the install easier? 1/2 NPT 90 degree to what? 3/8 barb, 1/2 barb?

I really don't think you need it with the FASS pump and filter system. You will be just fine.

Only the FASS II (no filters) needed the 90 fitting.

Like Brandon said, you don't need it on the FASS with filters.

Thanks,
Jason S.
