fass 95 questions

K so last saturday I put in my fass hpfp 95 series and I dont have any problems with it but when i was installing it I noticed that there was a little screw on the top of the pump? is this a fuel pressure adjuster screw? i have no idea what it is.......

This may sound like a smart a$$ response, but seriously did you try to call Fass or some other hiperformanc diesel place? Someone there ought to know....

I'd love to help, but my fass isn't in yet so I don't know.

no i havent called cause i thought someone on this site would know..... but i'm gettin 17-18 at idle 14-16 cruisin and not less than 12 psi at wot......

Those numbers sound about right... I have not put on my big line kit from the filter to the IP yet, that is supposed to increase it some also... We still have winter fuel so my numbers are slightly lower than yours...

I think those #'s sounds good too, but unfortunatley I'm many miles away from my truck right now so I can't go out and look at the pump for you, and I don't remember if mine has that screw you're talking about. It's been almost four years since I put it on, but I can tell you the only thing I did to the pump itelf was change the spring....no adjusting of any screws.
I'd say leave it alone....you don't want to do this...

edit: take a look in my gallery...there's two pics of my hpfp...see if you see the same screw that's on yours.

nope you cant see it we both have our pumps mounted the same way and they little screw I'm talkin about sits on top of the pump
