Fass

Does anyone know the part number for a replacement fuel filter for my fass. From any local parts store like Napa, Pepboys, AutoZone, ect.

Are you sure that the filter's plugged? Mine acted like a plugged filter until I figured out the sending unit float decided to crumble and plug the stock intake.

There is a mistake in that list though. The Baldwin microglass is a five micron filter. I checked through Baldwin customer service on it. In the list it says 12 micron.

Anyone know what micron rating is required for decent filtration of good quality diesel fuel? Personally, I can't see any serious reason why 20 microns is not more than enough, but I'm far from an expert. That being said, stock Fleetguard is 10 microns.

I have been running the Baldwin for some time now. No adverse affects.
