Which FASS?
I could possibly have a injector pump getting ready to take a nap on me....and after reviewing the records for my truck i see that it had a "fuel system repair" done about 5000 miles ago.(before i bought the truck). I am gonna assume that it was a lift pump R&R.
After i get the new injector pump installed under warranty, i wanna make sure i am not constantly wondering about it. So I am gonna install a FP gauge. But i am thinking of a FASS, from what i have heard they are much more reliable than our wimpy little lift pumps.
Is this true? And if so, which should i look at? I see the wildcat max flow is 175 CDN, but the one on dieselpp.com is like 700+ CDN. What is the difference?
Thanks for the feedback

I don't have any experience, but I can tell you that the wild cat max flow is not a lift pump at all. So that's the difference in price. I personally decided to go with the preporator Airdog, which will arrive here next Tuesday. I will be able to post results after install.

THe Max-flow setup from wildcat is designed to relieve the restrictions in the stock fuel plumbing. It keeps all the pumps and filters stock.
The FASS is a standalone fuel system that has a more reliable pump, built in filtration, and a unique ability to remove entrained air, which increases efficiency (more mpg, lower smoke, etc).
They really aren't comparable-- thus the huge price difference.
