Anything besides the stock lift pump is recomended for fueling over stock. I am running a FASS on my truck and I would highly recomend one. They have a good record of being reliable and will push all the fuel you will ever need. The FASS kit comes with all fuel lines to upgrade from the small stock ones. I would also recomend a fuel pressure gauge on all 24valves.

Yes, the FASS goes underneath the truck and it comes with a new larger than stock fuel line which attaches to the tank and goes all the way right into the pump.

Its always better to have too much fuel, than not enough.

Theres also the Airdog fuel systems. They come with 1/2 in. lines, the replacement filters are cheaper, and I think they flow somewhere between 95-110gph. However, I think FASS rescently came out with a 6year warranty on their pumps vs. 1 year on the Airdogs.

I would go with the 95gpm. Some people with the 150 have had problems with it sucking the sump dry to the volume of fuel that it moves. Plus the 95 will be more than enough for your truck. I have a 95 on mine and my truck dynoed 700hp, and I dont have a fuel supply problem.

thanks. is it recommended to get a new feed pump also? or should those only be replaced when they go out?

The FASS is the feed pump, or lift pump. It is the electric fuel pump that feeds the injection pump. The FASS replaces the factory lift pump and lasts much longer and flows a lot more fuel.
