Fass 150 pressures?
I have a Fass 150 system on my truck and would like to get more pressure out of it. I have used a few different springs on the return line and I can only get my pressure to 22psi no matter what I do. any ideas?

The reason you are only getting 22 PSI is because we built in a high pressure relief (Should be from about 22-25 PSI) to protect the motor from high amperage (Assuming you have 150 GPH pump). Anything higher than that puts the motor in the red and will reduce the life of the pump. ALSO you want to make sure you have return flow going back to the tank if you have the FASS for proper operation. Sitting at the 22 PSI, I am willing to bet that you cut off 100% of the flow and effectively turned your FASS into a HPFP.
I am agreement with everyone else here about the pressure. You are not going to gain anything on an ISB raising the pressure. This has been tossed around a lot on this forum and others……

AHHHH....ok.
The 150 GPH pump will not push that pressure. If you want volume and pressure both, i would suggest looking at a RP-1003 replacement pump and PS-1013 spring for the FASS 150 Series. This is our larger motor that can take the higher amps. This would convert your 150 GPH unit into a 180 GPH @ 45 PSI Pump.
OR depending on how new your FASS is....might just get a FASS 150/200-1008 & 50 PSI. Use what you need out of the kit (draw tube and such) and box up your FASS 150 GPH. It would be a used pump with a new boxing contents.
I would not suggest pushing your 150 GPH pump up to 45 PSI.
