Which FASS?

Which FASS?
I gotta get a FASS pump. No Choice. Fuel pressure hits the "0" peg under hard acceleration at about 25 Lbs of boost. Pressure won't go over 5 psi ever.
When I first got the truck, I'd have 20 psi of fuel, but the shop that did my VP44 did something, and ever since, 5 psi is it.
I know some mods have been made, Waste gate is gone, 4" open exhaust, and a good bit of black smoke at about 2200 RPM's and 25 lbs of boost.
No Chip or programmer (yet)
Instinct tells me to get the 150 pump. will I run into any trouble with this pump? The adds say "Over 600 HP". I'm not putting that kind of power down. (yet)
I'd hate to buy the 95 pump, only to find out later that I need a bigger pump.
Advice?

Now, the questions is do you go with the whole FASS system or just get the 150 pump? What are the benefits of using the FASS's filter and heater as opposed to the factory ones? Is it really worth $200+ more dollars for the sytem?

Sounds like your LP is shot, probably not related to "the shop that did your VP44". The FASS 95 will work fine, unless you are going for huge power. I'm running the 95 and my psi never drops below 19.
Good point in the next post - get the "full meal" system, it has the fuel filter and water seperator on it.

Which ever GPH you choose, get the 150 series FASS. You can get the filters just about anywhere (seems to me the filter is off a JD of some sort), whereas the 95 series has special filters you can only get through FASS dealers. I'd get the full FASS instead of the HPFP. Extra filtration is always good, and they are much less of a pain to change than the stocker. You might not need the 150 GPH, but if its the same price as the 95 GPH, why not get the bigger one?

I prefer the FASS over the HPFP (without filters), but both are excellent. Really depends on your budget.
Agree with 'Tate'. Get the 150 series (confusing) in either the 95 GPH or the 150 GPH pump. The 95 GPH will handle all a 24v can throw at it.... so your choice. If you choose a FASS, get one with the new 'Plate' for quietier motor noise. It's probably all you can find now anyway, but double check to be sure!
